Halloween "Parts & Pieces" - Part 1

This is the first of three items created using the Tim Holtz Configurations Boxes found here at -
Scrap N With Flair - I used one box to create three projects that will be posted here over the next couple of months.
Scroll down to see the "Parts & Pieces" of this creation come to life!

The first box called Halloween "Parts and Pieces" was made using the lid of the large configuration box, five of the smaller boxes and numerous Tim Holtz parts and pieces of hardware that can all be found at http://www.scrapnwithflair.com/product.php?pcategory=127 - I especially enjoyed working with the dolls in this project, wrapping one with canvas strips to mimic a mummy. The "poison" viles were filled with alcohol ink and swirled around. Sand and a broken Barbie hand finished off the boxes. Some addition hardware to finish the project was needed, some washers, nut and bolts and wire. I know that I will treasure this piece for years to come. Here are some of the close up shots of this project -

Halloween Creations

BOO! I've created a few projects that I hope you will find fun, interesting and inspiring, some of these projects were very easy to make  - while others have taken much more time than I thought to put together as you will see.

First off - My husband made these wooden goblets when he was kid, well they sat in a box for years and years and were about to be thrown out, so I rescued them and decided to upcycle them the best I could. Here's how they turned out.........

Alot of Tim Holtz going on here, LOL

Good Pumpkin - Bad Pumpkin Rub-ons

Secondly - I was inspired by an inspiration sheet available at Value Village to make these amazing plates - so I used my favorite image from  http://jackandcatcurio.blogspot.com/ cut out the images, glued them onto the plates and presto some additional halloween decor for get this UNDER $1.00 per plate to make!

My home is starting to look very spooky!
