Canvas Mini

I haven't blogged in a day or two, so I figured I should get on here and share something from the studio!

Lately, I've been playing around alot with canvas, I've done many things with it, one of my favorite things to do with it is paint it. Now you all may have seen my painted canvas purses in my shop. Or you've put together a bookmark at one of classes. So you know how much I love working with canvas, I'm constantly working with it.

Today I want to share a little mini I made using Tim Holtz  paintable plastic shapes (not sure what they are called, but they sure are beautiful and fun to work with. I have a "nautical" theme sheet. And here's what I did with it. Each page holds a tag that has some personal journaling on it. Each page was sewn together, painted and stamped. I love how it turned out. This little booklet is special to me, when I feel the cold days of Saskatchewan, I grab my little book and it cheers me up, SoCal is in my heart forever!
